Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport, formerly also known as Astana International Airport, is the Kazakh international airport of Astana, the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is located almost within the city limits in the Yesil district, 16.7 km south-east of the business center of the city, in the northwest of Lake Maybalyk.
